Welcome to this course on building a website the fast, easy, and inexpensive way.
If you’re a small business owner, entrepreneur, creative, or just looking to represent yourself online with your own website, then this course is right for you. Websites are an absolutely essential piece of any business, but not everyone can afford to pay thousands of dollars to hire a web designer. You’re in luck. There’s an easier way to make a website that functions and looks just like a thousand dollar site and I’ve been using it successfully for years.
Weebly is one of the best web builders on the market. It’s free to start out with compared to it’s competition SquareSpace and Wix. It’s also much more use friendly than WordPress.
In this course, we’ll walk through the pricing options (and yes there’s a free option) and how to get started.
Then we’ll discuss designing your website to make sure it looks professional and consistent with your brand.
Then we’re going to walk through the tools you can use on weebly to customize your site and add content. They’re almost entirely drag & drop, but still versatile!
We’ll also dive into the settings a little bit to make sure you don’t forget important ones so that your site can be found on Google Search Engine.
Briefly, we’ll explore options Weebly had to get more customization out of themes. This will allow future editors of your site (either you or someone you hire to help) to make an even more custom site.
Finally we’ll get your site published and share some tips to ensure visitors… well visit.
Join this course and build your website with ease along side the videos. You’ll have a site up and running for under a hundred dollars or free by the time you finish.
In the first video, I’ll introduce myself as the instructor, tell you a little about my qualifications and why I love using Weebly to build website even though I learned to code years ago. Don’t wait, take control of your web storefront now! “Many a false step is made by standing still.”
I'm here to help use the wonderful world wide web to promote your small business. I've been studying, testing, and implementing these tactics for over eight years. Now my mission is to support small businesses, entrepreneurs, and artists like myself with that knowledge.
My primary occupation is making films and videos. I am constantly learning and growing my array of skills to make my job easier and help teach those around me.
